Delete Your Account
Last updated: August 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your CueVision account and the personal data associated with it. CueVision is a cue sports training application, published by CueVision, that records cue motion from a connected Bluetooth sensor and analyses your stroke.
You do not need to sign in to read this page or to make a request.
1. How to request deletion
There are two ways to request that we delete your account. Both reach the same place and are handled the same way.
From inside the app
Open CueVision and go to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Confirming there starts an account deletion request that is sent to us with your account email and user ID already filled in.
By email
If you cannot access the app, or you have already uninstalled it, email us at hello@cuevision.io with the subject “Account deletion request”.
Please send it from the email address registered to your CueVision account. If you send it from a different address, we may ask you for additional details to confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.
2. Beta: requests are processed manually
CueVision is currently in beta. There is no self-service button that erases your account instantly. Your request is submitted to the CueVision team and processed manually by a person.
We aim to acknowledge requests within a few business days, and we complete verified deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. We will confirm by email once your account has been deleted.
3. What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently delete your CueVision account and the personal data tied to it. Nothing in this list is kept in an archived or recoverable form.
- Your login credentials and authentication record, including your email address
- Your profile: display name, avatar, playing preferences, and onboarding progress
- All recorded sessions and individual shots, including the underlying cue motion telemetry
- All drill sessions, scores, and training history
- Sensor calibration profiles and paired sensor records
- Training plans you created, plan progress, and saved favourites
- AI coaching insights generated from your sessions
- Any research or diagnostic data captured under a consent you gave in the app
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We cannot restore an account or its training history after it has been deleted, so please export or note anything you want to keep beforehand.
4. What we have to retain, and for how long
Two narrow categories of data outlive the deletion of your account. We keep them only for the reasons given, and we do not use them to build a profile of you or to contact you.
Billing and transaction records
If you ever held a paid subscription, records of those transactions are retained by us and by our payment processor (Stripe) to meet tax, accounting, and financial reporting obligations. These are retained for up to 6 years where required for legal, tax or regulatory purposes. We never store your full card details — those sit with Stripe.
Anonymised and aggregated analytics
Stroke telemetry that has already been aggregated or stripped of identifiers, and used to calibrate our scoring models, is retained indefinitely. Once anonymised it is no longer linked to you or your account and cannot be traced back to you, so it cannot be individually extracted or deleted.
Aside from these, all of your personal data is permanently deleted. Backups are on a rolling cycle and any residual copies are overwritten within 30 days of deletion.
5. Before you request deletion
- Cancel any active subscription first. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing managed through an app store or Stripe. You can cancel from Manage Billing in the app, or from your Google Play subscriptions.
- If you only want your training data gone, you do not need to delete your account. Profile → Danger Zone → Clear Everything removes your shots, drills, and calibration data while keeping your login.
